Job Description:
BizTalk Developer for the Integration Services Department responsible for the design, coding, and unit testing of enterprise integration solutions.
Job Duties:
1. Responsible for designing, mapping, troubleshooting, and orchestrating solutions using Microsoft BizTalk 2006
2. Interact closely with Integration Architects to understand software requirements and design solutions
3. Document and propose changes and improvements using design skills
4. Assist Integration Architects with providing effort estimates for Integration Solutions
5. Provide development support and assistance for customer escalations and issues, including off-hours
6. Multi-task many projects effectively
7. Responsible for quality and accountability of deliverables
8. Prioritize and schedule assignments to meet team deadlines and goals
9. Responsible for quality and accountability of deliverables
10. Work effectively as a team and be a strong team player
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, CIS, or related
Qualifications and Skills:
* 3+ years experience developing with Microsoft BizTalk 2004 or 2006
* 1+ years of development experience using Microsoft .NET
* 5+ years experience in application development
* Working knowledge of Schemas, Maps, Pipelines, Orchestrations, Custom Functoids and HAT
* Working knowledge of Visual Studio 2003 or 2005, C#, SQL Server, OOP, Web Services, and Stored Procedures
* Good understanding of all Software Development Life Cycle Phases
* Good communication skills (Fluency in English - excellent written and verbal skills)
* Experience with SOA, XML/XSL, .NET 2.0, and VB6 is a plus
* Performance tuning, code profiling, code review, hands on experience using Best Patterns and Practices
* MCTS in BizTalk Server 2006 is a plus
* Working knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns
